Houston Paralegal Job Market Trending Flat
The overall market for paralegals has been flat for the past several months nationwide, and that trend is seen in Houston, Texas as well, though with a caveat. Prior to the beginning of this year, the employment market for paralegals in Houston was all over the place, with wild swings up and down over the past two years. For 2010, however, the trend is flat, as with the rest of the country as a whole.
For those seeking Houston paralegal jobs, that means it’s not a great time to find a position, but the employment market is a bit more settled than it was (though it appears to be in a trough at the moment). With that said, looking at a graph of activity within this field in Houston for the past three years shows that the middle of summer – for reasons I can not readily determine – is an especially popular time frame for hiring in the field, meaning that opportunities may be presenting themselves in just a few short months.
